Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a PA or compact license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details- Work in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit of an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Required to work every other weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating requirements
- Meditech charting experience is not required
- Active RN license (PA state or Compact) currently in hand or pending with ETA clearly stated
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Medical/Surgical/Telemetry skills required
- PA fingerprinting and PA Childline Abuse Clearance required
- PA Department of Aging fingerprints required for travelers who have not resided in PA for the past two years
- Two professional references required
- Provide acute care nursing services to medical/surgical and telemetry patients
- Holiday availability requested
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply, though travel experience is preferred
