Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Echocardiography Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and obtain high-quality images for physician interpretation and patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and color-flow echocardiograms
- Obtain and document high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients for echocardiography procedures
- Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Assist physicians during echocardiography procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
- Follow infection control, safety, and departmental protocols
- Properly operate and maintain echocardiography equipment
- Minimum 2 years of recent Echocardiography experience
- ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification preferred/required as applicable
- Experience performing adult echocardiograms
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, Doppler techniques, and ultrasound principles
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
