Responsibilities for a Manufacturing Technician include but are not limited to:
- Perform precision component assembly of optical components using UV-cured epoxy, aligning systems via feedback from optical spectrum analyzers, power meters, and CCD cameras.
- Maintain quality and safety standards by adhering to ISO9000 requirements, ESD controls, cleanroom/work area cleanliness, PPE guidelines, and established 5S procedures.
- Support continuous improvement and training by participating in or leading Kaizen and Practical Process Improvement (PPI) events, attending daily team stand-up meetings, and training new technicians.
Candidates for Manufacturing Technician must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Experience with micro-assembly: High School Diploma/GED required, with 1–3 years of experience demonstrating the ability to work with small parts under a microscope using tweezers and small tools (soldering experience is a plus).
- Technical and equipment proficiency: Strong computer knowledge and the ability to use specialized equipment like optical power meters and spectrum analyzers; experience in opto-electrical device manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Detail-oriented and collaborative team player: Excellent attention to detail, flexibility to cross-train in other process areas, and a willingness to communicate daily challenges and improvement ideas.

- Shift: 8-hour day shift with flexible start options: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
