• Perform gross examination of surgical specimens and assist in pathology procedures
• Handle frozen sections, tissue processing, and staining
• Work on high-complexity cases (e.g., mastectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, colectomy, etc.)
• Assist with autopsy pathology and specimen evaluation
• Operate equipment like cryostat, tissue processor, and voice recognition systems
• Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
• Graduate of accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program
• ASCP certification preferred
• Experience in hospital clinical lab setting preferred
• Work Environment:
• Pathology Lab (no floating)
• 30–50 specimens/day
• No weekends or holidays
