Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Corrections RNs for immediate placement at Clark County Jail in Vancouver, WA. This is a fast-paced correctional setting requiring reliable, adaptable nursing professionals to provide compassionate care to inmates. The position offers a quick turnaround—submitting interviews and offers within 24 hours.
You will work 12-hour shifts on a 3x12 schedule, covering day and night shifts, with potential every-other-weekend coverage if needed. The assignment starts within 2-3 weeks after offer acceptance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to inmates in a correctional facility
- Assess, monitor, and document inmate health conditions
- Administer medication and treatments following facility protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement and facility staff to ensure safety and health standards
- Comply with all correctional facility policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Qualifications:
- Valid and unencumbered RN license in the state of Washington
- Minimum of 3-6 months of corrections experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a correctional environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible with shifts and schedule, with no more than 4 days of RTO
