Position Summary

• Assists with non-patient food services as needed.
• Ensures all trash receptacles are emptied and cleaned.
• Moves furniture, equipment and other items as required.
• Stocks food, paper, and beverage supplies, using proper shelf rotation procedures.
• Communicates proper information regarding patient, non-patient or departmental needs to Group Leaders, Food Service

• Accomplishes other duties as directed.
• Models essential service behaviors, such as excellent communication and customer service skills with patients, nursing staff, and visitors.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state

• Participates in monthly departmental meetings and all related inservices.
• Observes all departmental rules and regulations.
• Follows outlined cleaning procedures of patient tray delivery carts as needed.
• Assists in dishroom area as needed.

• Aware of and follow all Food Borne Illness prevention and sanitation requirements.
• Interacts appropriately with a culturally diverse population.
• Follows chain of command when communicating departmental and individual concerns or problems.
