- Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse, 13-week assignment)
- Unit: Endoscopy – Procedure Center (Endoscopy Nurse / Perioperative Nurse)
- Shift: 8 Hour Days; 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (Pre/Post-Op RN schedule)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/13/2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,620 – $2,760 (competitive pay for travel RN roles)
- Mandatory Overtime: May be required as part of the rotation pool to ensure unit coverage
- Float: Not required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Connecticut RN license preferred)
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Pre/Post-Op or perioperative settings
- Endoscopy experience highly preferred (Endoscopy RN or GI procedure experience)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be current)
- Strong communication, patient advocacy, and teamwork skills in fast-paced clinical environments
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients in the Endoscopy Procedure Center, focusing on pre-op and post-op care for GI procedures
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status before and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and follow endoscopy-specific protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthetists, and multidisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
- Participate in mandatory overtime rotation as needed to maintain unit coverage
