Job Details- Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Cath Lab RN) / Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse (Travel)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
- Location: Canton, OH 44708 (Canton, Ohio travel nursing)
- Contract Duration: 13-week travel contract
- Shift: Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 17:30)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse (RN)
- Orientation: 32-40 hours (paid at 50% of base hourly rate)
- Start Date: June 26, 2026
- Minimum 18 months combined permanent Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience (Cardiac Cath Lab RN or Cath Lab RN experience preferred)
- Active Ohio RN license or active compact state license (Ohio travel nursing eligibility)
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS — current and active
- NIHSS certification required
- Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty (from assignments in the past 12 months)
- Experience with Xper (Wit) and EPIC charting systems preferred (EP Lab and Cath Lab documentation)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Negative 10 Panel drug screen within 12 months of start (Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements per current policy)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment during orientation
- Provide peri-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, PCI, and emergency Cath Lab procedures
- Function as circulator, scrub, or monitor within the Cardiac Cath Lab and cover holding area and/or EP Lab as needed
- Perform ECG rhythm recognition and respond to arrhythmias in accordance with ACLS protocols
- Ensure medication safety, proper administration, and documentation following hospital policy
- Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, EP teams, radiology, anesthesiology, and multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Xper (Wit) and EPIC charting systems
- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and Cath Lab regulatory standards
