Responsibilities:
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards.
- Collaborate with Data Stewards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Define and orchestrate data ownership and stewardship across data domains.
- Monitor and advise on data practices to ensure adherence to governance principles.
- Provide guidance on ethical data use and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage Data Catalog, onboard domain teams and help them to adapt
Experience:
- 3+ years of practical experience in full-time data governance frameworks and compliance requirements in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyze data and identify data quality issues
- Familiarity with data management tools and technologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of working with Microsoft Purview, Fabric and Power BI is an advantage
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
