Join an exciting travel nursing position in beautiful Ithaca, NY. This 13-week contract offers hands-on acute care experience across multiple units while living in the scenic Finger Lakes region and vibrant college town community.
Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (Tompkins County, Finger Lakes)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts (float schedule will vary weekly)
- Type: Travel RN, On-Site
- Number of Positions: 3 Travel RNs
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience, including ICU, Med-Surg, or Emergency Department
- Ability to float independently to at least two of the following: ICU, Med-Surg, Emergency Department; float RN experience preferred
- Active RN license
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (required)
- NIHSS certification (required)
- TNCC certification (required)
- Experience with Epic EMR or other electronic medical record systems
- Provide high-quality acute patient care as a Travel RN across ICU, Med-Surg, and Emergency Department units
- Safely adapt to varying float schedules and unit-specific workflows
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
- Use Epic EMR for accurate clinical documentation and patient management
- Demonstrate clinical flexibility, professionalism, and strong critical thinking in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Gain diverse acute care experience as a Float RN in ICU, Med-Surg, and ED
- Work in Ithaca, NY — a welcoming college town in the Finger Lakes with outdoor recreation and cultural amenities
