Make-Ready Supervisor
Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Make Ready Supervisor. This position will supervise and direct the make-ready and detail technicians in preparation of vehicles for delivery.
Job Responsibilities- Schedules preventative maintenance of all equipment
- Assigns make-ready personnel and detail technicians to appropriate work areas
- Enforces the proper use of the department's designated parking area, supplies, utilities, etc. in order to eliminate waste and maximize the profitability of the department
- Manages work schedules and issue reprimands when necessary
- Conducts performance reviews, and manages time cards, work schedules and issues reprimands when necessary
- Monitors and organizes an effective and secure key system
- Trains make-ready and detail technicians
- Assures security of clients’ possessions
- Orders and inventories make-ready supplies
- Acts as liaison between department staff(s) and Sales Managers to facilitate the process for new and pre-owned vehicles
- Details clients’ vehicles as needed
- Helps with recruiting for department
- Maintains strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
- Notes damage and notify Service so a claim can be filed within 24 hours
- Performs quality control inspection of all vehicles before being brought to frontline
- Coordinates with Sales and Service to insure on-time deliveries

- Attends weekly department meetings
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
