RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.$750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
- Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Full-time position with temp to perm possibility
- Must have pediatric cardiac experience including chest tubes, pacing wires, ventilators, and vasoactive infusions
- One year of critical care experience preferred but will accept new graduates
- Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
- Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members and caregivers
- Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
- Required certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only)
- RN License in Texas or compact state required
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
- Complete annual competency verification requirements
