Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of independent scanning experience for a 13-week travel contract in New York.
Details- Hospital-based MRI department serving inpatient, ER, and outpatient populations
- MRI scanner in use is the Siemens Espree
- Epic EMR is used at this facility
- Monday through Friday evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- No holiday or weekend requirements
- Minimum 2 years of independent MRI scanning experience required
- NYS ARRT registration with injection license required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Ability to scan independently alongside an imaging aide, without another MRI technologist
- License required if applicable
- Responsible for scanning inpatient, ER, and outpatient cases independently
- This role operates with an imaging aide rather than a second MRI technologist, requiring a high degree of independent clinical judgment
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
