Job Summary
Radiation Therapist in RTT specialty located in a healthcare facility. This position involves delivering precise radiation therapy treatments, operating treatment units, and ensuring patient safety during therapy procedures. The role includes simulation procedures, equipment operation, treatment verification, and patient record management, with a focus on quality and safety standards.
Job Details- Position Description: Responsible for accurately delivering radiation therapy using treatment units, maintaining communication with patients, performing daily linac and CT quality assurance, and handling monthly CT QA. Performs IGRT, SBRT treatment, and portal imaging.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Successful completion of an approved course in Radiation Therapy, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certified and registered. Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiation therapy.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Strongly preferred experience using IMRT, 3D, SRS, and SBRT, CBCT, and Align RT. The role includes training other therapists in CT/Simulation, maintaining and verifying treatment records in MOSAIQ, adhering to department safety and safety standards, and operating CT on rails for IGRT.
