Radiologic Technologist - RADTECH 26-05820

Job Summary

The technologist will work closely with physicians during both routine and complex radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including routine and specialized imaging
• Conduct X-rays in the Emergency Department with speed and accuracy
• Provide portable imaging services for inpatient units
• Assist physicians during invasive and fluoroscopic procedures, including use of C-arm equipment in the operating room
• Ensure optimal image quality while minimizing patient radiation exposure
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of radiologic equipment

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• Active Texas state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required

• Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and equipment
• Experience with fluoroscopy and C-arm procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
