We are offering an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Tester based in Redmond, Washington. This role primarily involves manual testing to ensure a positive customer experience. As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be representing the voice of quality through user-based testing scenarios, assessing the functionality and compliance of various aspects including UI, gameplay, and companion applications.
This role is a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborating both on-site and electronically with the expanded team.
• Validating the acceptance criteria of new features.
• Conducting root cause analysis and reporting of issues in a database.
• Validating fixes and conducting risk assessment of surrounding areas.
• Fulfilling test requests from stakeholders.
• Conducting tests across different hardware platforms.
• Advocating for customer experience from the perspective of various users such as educators, administrators, students, parents, and gamers.
• Assisting Software Test Engineers in assessing risks and gaining coverage confidence in their areas.
• Utilizing skills in Customer Service, Quality, Workstation Support, Troubleshooting, QA - Quality Assurance, Coding, Database, Manual Test Scripts, Manual Test, Manual Testing, and Software Testing.
• Proficiency in Quality Assurance (QA) and Software Testing methods.
• Experience in developing and executing Manual Test Scripts.
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues and provide Workstation Support.
• Exceptional Customer Service skills to address user concerns and issues.
• Familiarity with Manual Testing procedures and tools.
• Strong understanding of Quality control procedures and standards.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in execution of tasks.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
