RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.$750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
- Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required, with 3+ years preferred
- Med/Surg experience required, oncology experience highly preferred
- Charge nurse experience is a plus
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA or ARC)
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school required; BSN or MSN preferred
- Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Assess patient needs including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects
- Perform bedside point of care testing as required
- Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
- Participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration and evaluation of patient care
- Develop relationships with families to promote advocacy for patients
- Participate in education programs and professional development activities
- Must be fluent in English (read, write, speak)
