Quality Assurance Tech - 3rd Shift
Are you a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a quiet, high-focus environment? Do you want to be the "Final Signature" on the products that millions of families put on their tables?
Local Food Manufacturer is looking for a 3rd Shift QA Technician to join our team. On the night shift, you aren’t just a number—you are the lead defender of our SQF certification. While the facility is at its most productive, you are the one ensuring that every bottle, every label, and every batch is 100% perfect.
THE NIGHT SHIFT ADVANTAGE:
- Autonomy: Manage your lab and your line checks with minimal distractions.
- Impact: You are the primary point of contact for quality during our most critical production hours.
YOUR MISSION:
- Chemical Precision: Test every batch for acid, salt, viscosity, and color to ensure they hit the "Standard."
- The Gatekeeper: Perform filler start-up tests and hourly finished product checks. If it isn't perfect, you have the authority to put it on hold.
- Audit-Ready, Always: Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ensure we are ready for a surprise inspection at 3:00 AM.
- Technical Mastery: Calibrate titrators and lab equipment daily to ensure 100% data accuracy.
- Scientific Sampling: Collect micro-plating and shelf-life samples to track our products long after they leave the dock.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience: Previous QA/QC experience in food, pharma, or medical labs is preferred—but we value transferable skills from high-precision roles (like Kitchen Mixing or Lab Assisting).
- The "Eye for Detail": You notice the label that is 2mm off-center or the viscosity that is 1% out of spec.
- Ownership: You take pride in "owning" your shift and making sure everything is ready for the morning transition.
- Math Savvy: Comfortable with basic chemistry math and digital documentation.
- Weekly Pay: Reliable, competitive wages deposited every week.
- Stability: Join a family-owned industry giant with a "Safety-First" culture.
- Growth: We invest in our night shift. This role is a proven launchpad for Quality Leadership and Management roles.
