Job Title: Director of Nursing
Location: Gifford, IL
Pay Rate: $60–$66/hr
Schedule: Full-time, flexible day schedule
Shifts: Variable – Days (8-hour shifts)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Director of Nursing for an exciting Travel or Local job in Gifford, IL.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursing operations and staff performance
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Develop and implement care plans and clinical policies
Supervise and mentor nursing staff
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
Manage staffing schedules and resource allocation

Requirements

Active RN license (IL or compact)
Previous DON or leadership experience in LTC
Strong knowledge of regulatory standards
BLS certification
Minimum 2–3 years leadership experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
