Job Description- - Review and interpret customer specifications to ensure product compliance
- Provide technical and metallurgical support to manufacturing operations
- Analyze production data to identify quality issues and drive process improvements
- Conduct internal audits and support maintenance of the quality management system
- Investigate product nonconformance and lead root cause and corrective action efforts
- Partner with operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
- Maintain quality documentation including FMEA, Control Plans, and related systems
- Respond to customer complaints and support resolution of quality issues
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and trials
- Generate quality reports, lead meetings, and perform daily floor audits

The Successful Applicant- A Bachelor's or technical degree (flexible based on experience)
- 1+ years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly operations
- Experience working with quality systems such as ISO 9001 (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment
- Exposure to metals, steel, or heavy industrial manufacturing (preferred)
- - Salary likely in the $70K-$90K range (or up to $100K for expereinced candidates)
