Paralegal Legal Assistant
We are looking for a Paralegal Legal Assistant able to provide high level support to two Senior Paralegals focused on Estate Planning and Elder Law. Previous experience in drafting important documents such as Wills and/or Trusts needed. This is an opportunity to work for a stand out Law Firm in Richmond offering a sustainable 37.5-hour work week. The successful candidate will have a sharp eye for detail and the desire to work in a specialized, high-impact field within a collaborative work environment that provides opportunities for advancement.
salary: $52,500 - $65,000 per yearshift: First

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities- Support two Paralegals with the preparation/drafting of documents, including Wills, Trusts, and transmittal letters.
- Conduct meticulous proofreading of legal documents to ensure accuracy in names, fiduciary appointments, and distributive provisions.
- Maintain high-volume physical and electronic files; ensure all original executed documents are scanned, indexed, and filed according to firm protocol.
- Act as a formal witness (Notary-if not already one, willing to obtain) for document execution meetings, ensuring all Virginia statutory requirements are met.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, gathering sensitive financial data and family history required for the planning process.
- Provide general administrative support to the paralegals supporting attorneys.
