Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the AS9100/ISO 9001 Quality Management System and lead internal/external audits.
- Serve as the primary Quality representative for customers, program reviews, and contract requirements.
- Lead nonconformance, failure, root cause, and corrective action investigations using 8D, 5 Whys, and similar methods.
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing to ensure aerospace quality requirements are met.
- Manage quality metrics, supplier quality requirements, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Support facility safety audits and EHS initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field.
- 10+ years of QA/Quality experience in aerospace or defense, including leadership experience.
- 5+ years working with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001.
- AS9100 auditor certification; Lead Auditor preferred.
- Knowledge of J-STD-001 Space Addendum and NASA 8739 standards.
- Strong root cause analysis, technical documentation, and customer communication skills.
