Project Administrator
Kforce has a client in Plano, TX that is seeking a Project Administrator to provide administrative support for construction projects from planning through closeout. This role partners closely with Project Managers to coordinate logistics, maintain schedules, and ensure accurate project tracking across multiple sites and vendors.
This is a highly organized, fast-paced role requiring strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Summary:The Project Administrator will support procurement and delivery of owner-provided materials, helping manage vendor coordination and shipment logistics. This includes tracking deliveries, communicating timelines to project teams, and supporting efforts to optimize shipping and cost efficiencies.
This individual will also maintain and update project schedules and trackers, ensuring timelines remain accurate and current. Responsibilities include collecting and organizing project documentation such as daily/weekly reports, photo updates, and progress summaries from field teams to maintain visibility across active projects.
Additionally, the role supports punch list tracking and follow-up, helping ensure outstanding items are completed in a timely manner. The Project Administrator will assist with project closeout by coordinating documentation, tracking required approvals, and ensuring all materials are finalized for successful completion.
REQUIREMENTS:- 2+ years of administrative, coordinator, or project support experience (construction or related industry preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience tracking project schedules, documentation, or operational processes
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including vendors, contractors, and internal teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and project records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and proactively follow up on tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
