Painter
Duties include receiving items from various departments, safely storing and handling them, completing refinishing work efficiently, and returning items promptly for final inspection and shipping.
The Painter must identify and report any damage or defects discovered during the painting process and maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent contamination or damage. Responsibilities also include maintaining painting equipment and tools, monitoring paint and supply inventory, and completing all required regulatory training.
Additional responsibilities include supporting logistics operations during peak periods, processing scrap units according to procedures, managing hazardous materials, overseeing Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and assisting with OSHA-related tasks.
Qualified candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, knowledge of paints, primers, mixing ratios, surface preparation, and proper material handling and disposal practices.Technical college or military training is preferred.
This full-time, non-exempt position in Depew, NY offers $24–$26 per hour DOE, benefits, and requires background checks and FAA-regulated drug screenings
