TRAINING TECHNICIAN with Security Clearance
Duties As an TRAINING TECHNICIAN, GS
-1712-9, you will:- Review data on unit training mission and training requirements
- Research the availability of leadership or proficiency correspondence courses
- Recommend approval/disapproval of applications based on budgetary consideration
- Prepare final draft of state Annual Training (AT) Plan for acceptance and approval at NGB
- Provide technical advice and information to AG staff and special appointed board officials on educational requirements and courses for specialized training
- Perform other Duties as Assigned Requirements Conditions of employment Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement.

- Organizing and preparing instructional materials
- Conducting assistance visits and training meetings
- Understanding and applying formal training objectives
- Conducting, supervising, or developing education or training programs
- Determining the instructional methods for class size and subject matter
- Training program management; scheduling training events and facilities
- Developing course syllabi, training project outlines, and daily and weekly lesson plans
- Instructing students by lectures, discussions, demonstrations, group activities, and laboratory work

COLLEGE DIPLOMA PREFERRED AND EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRAINING REALM WOULD BE PREFERABLE.
