Job Requirements / Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license: New Jersey or compact state accepted
- Minimum 1 year recent Emergency Room / ER nursing experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department
- Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills typical of emergency nurses
- Provide compassionate, efficient emergency care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in collaboration with the ER team and physicians
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered and per protocol
- Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and escalate care as needed
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in rapid response, code blue situations, and other emergency procedures when required
