Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience, with active CO or Compact RN licensure and night shift availability.
Details- Labor and Delivery unit at an acute care hospital in Golden, CO
- Night shift: 12-hour shifts from 1900–0730
- Schedule is 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
- Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Required certifications (must be AHA and must not expire prior to start date): BLS, NRP, and either C-EFM or AWHONN
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
- Responsibilities include patient health teaching, counseling, and referrals as needed
- Performs both independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- BSN is preferred but not required
