Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in a high-volume inpatient Endoscopy unit. The ideal candidate will have strong GI and advanced endoscopy experience with proficiency in a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent Endoscopy/GI RN experience
- Experience with:
- EGD
- Colonoscopy
- Bronchoscopy
- ERCP
- EBUS
- EUS
- Endoflip
- ESD
- POEM
- Bronchoscopy Ion Robotic Assisted
- Rigid Bronchoscopy with Stents
- Advanced Endoscopy experience preferred:
- ERCP
- EUS
- Double Balloon
- POEM
- ION Robot
- Motility Procedures (PH Impedance, ATMOS Pill Cam, Bravo – performing and reading)
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
Required Skills:
- Administering & Monitoring Conscious Sedation
- Provation documentation
- Specimen handling and labeling
- Epic charting experience
Equipment & Procedure Experience:
- Balloon Dilators
- Bronchoscopy Cart & Supplies
- ERBE
- Forceps
- Foreign Body Equipment
- Polyp Snares
- Esophageal Varices & Banding
- Sclerotherapy
Unit Information:
- Inpatient Endoscopy Unit
- Adult patient population
- 70–80 cases per day
- Float required to OSC-Endoscopy
- No call required
- No weekends
- No holiday RTO
- Up to 2 RTO requests permitted
