Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment at a medical center in Chicago, IL.
Details- Night shift hours: 19:00–07:30
- 13-week assignment in a Respiratory Therapy unit
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Every other holiday coverage required
- Flexible scheduling required — block schedules are not available
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Current PALS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Current NRP certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross; NALS also accepted)
- DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) certification required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the CDC's free online resource
- EMR experience required — experience must align with the facility's specific EMR system
- License required if applicable
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- First-time travelers will be considered given the 1-year minimum experience requirement
