Key Competencies:
- Proven ability to conceptualize, initiate, and deliver multiple IT projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical strategies to senior management in clear and concise terms.
- Expertise in assembling technology solutions and designing effective architectures.
- Relevant technical certifications as required.
Contractor Requirements:
- Infrastructure Engineering - Compute, storage, networking, and coding skills (70:30 ratio)
- Kubernetes Expertise - Specific proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift
- BareMetal installations
- K8 networking (CNI Cilium)
- Storage (CSI)
- Performance testing of OpenShift environments using Helm charts
- OpenShift Operator management
- Ceph Storage Management - Deployment, upgrades, and integration with Kubernetes for S3-compatible storage
- Virtualization & Cloud Migration - Automating VM migrations into OpenStack with KubeVirt and KVM
- Performance Optimization - Advanced tuning techniques for OpenStack environments
- Cloud-Native Infrastructure - Ensuring high availability and fault tolerance across OpenShift environments
