Job Details- Position: PRN Ultrasound Technologist / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,430
- Location: Plainsboro Township, New Jersey (08536) – Plainsboro, NJ; Mercer County; near Princeton
- Schedule: PRN (minimum 2 shifts required per month)
- Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
- No weekends or major hospital-observed holidays
- Duration: 1-year contract
- Work Setting: On-site, hospital-based maternal fetal medicine department
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Ultrasonographer specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine and high-risk pregnancies
- OB/GYN certification with ARDMS (RDMS – OB/GYN) or equivalent Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credentials
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital team
- Strong attention to detail, excellent patient communication skills, and commitment to high-quality patient care
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for maternal fetal medicine and high-risk pregnancy patients, including detailed fetal surveys and specialized scans
- Operate, maintain, and ensure proper calibration of ultrasound equipment; adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate closely with maternal fetal medicine physicians, OB/GYNs, and nursing staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety
- Document exam findings thoroughly and accurately in the patient record and imaging systems (PACS/EMR), following hospital protocols
- Provide compassionate, patient-focused care and clear explanations to patients and families during procedures
