CT / Rad Tech – Cath Lab (Travel Assignment) – Paterson, NJ
CT / Rad Tech – Cath Lab travel assignment in Paterson, NJ | ARRT(R) or RCIS, BLS/ACLS required — interventional cardiology and vascular imaging opportunity in Northern New Jersey.
Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 – $2,670
- Location: Paterson, NJ 07503 (Northern New Jersey; easy access to Wayne Campus)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 05/18/2026 – End: 08/17/2026)
- Setting: Cath Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab (interventional cardiology, vascular lab)
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
- Employment Type: Travel CT Technologist / Travel Radiologic Technologist
- Call: Minimum 7 days per month, including weekends & holidays
- Float: May float to Wayne Campus (smaller facility coverage)
- Parking: $50/month
- Scrubs: Provided by hospital
- Minimum 1 year recent Cath Lab experience (2–3 years preferred) as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, CT Technologist, or Rad Tech
- Current ARRT(R) certification (NJ state license required) or RCIS credential
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proven experience with cardiac catheterization, vascular procedures, and PPM (pacemaker) implants
- Comfortable working independently and floating to smaller facilities (Wayne Campus)
- Experience with interventional radiology and medical imaging equipment preferred
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

- Perform and assist with a variety of Cath Lab procedures including diagnostic cardiac cath, PCI, fistulogram, vascular angiogram, PTA, and PPM implants
- Operate and maintain imaging and interventional equipment such as Philips x-ray systems, IVUS, PFR, and IFR
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures while maintaining patient safety and sterile technique
- Document procedures and patient data using charting systems (GE Mac Lab and Cerner preferred)
- Float to Wayne Campus as needed and function independently when covering smaller or satellite sites
- Participate in on-call rotation (minimum 7 days/month, including weekends and holidays)
- Maintain high standards of patient care, radiation safety, and quality assurance in the cardiac cath lab
