RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.$750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
- Work in general medical/surgical telemetry unit with focus on cardiac care
- Provide care for structural heart patients
- Rotating schedule is 50/50 with no call requirements
- Typically work one week of days and one week of nights per pay period
- No shift switching within the same week unless desired
- Weekend coverage required
- Patient ratio experience of 6:1
- 12 hours of orientation provided
- Care for adult patients with daily census of 17
- Unit has 15 rooms and 20 beds
- Work with cardiac patients and perform catheterization procedures
- Float within hospital when needed
- Must have 1 year of nursing experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Must be proficient with Cerner charting system
- Valid PA License or Compact License required
- Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
- Must complete drug screen and labs within 24-48 hours of signing
- Skills include cardiac telemetry, IV management, wound care, post-cardiac procedures, and various cardiac monitoring capabilities
