Responsibilities include treatment planning, documentation, patient and family education, discharge planning, and participation in departmental and professional development activities.
Minimum Qualifications- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active SLP state license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required upon hire.
- Experience providing evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and dysphagia in an acute care or hospital-based rehab environment preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in documentation of evaluations, plans of care, and treatment sessions according to facility protocols.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.
- Experience with hospital electronic medical record systems preferred.
- FEES certification preferred.
- Shift hours: 0800–1700.
- Shift days include a five-day workweek, 5x8 schedule.
- No call, holiday, or weekend requirements.
