Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry (Cardiac) position requiring cardiac drip experience and an active AL or compact RN license.
Details- Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a cardiac focus in a hospital setting
- Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
- Cardiac drip experience required, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Shifts available as 36- or 48-hour weekly blocks; block scheduling is permitted
- Every other weekend (EOW) work is required
- 13-week contract
- Active AL RN license or compact RN license, currently in good standing
- Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Cardiac drip experience required (Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone)
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
- COVID vaccination required (Religious or Medical exemptions accepted with documentation)
- Flu vaccination required (Religious or Medical exemptions accepted with documentation)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers will not be considered
- Compliance documentation must be completed no later than one week prior to the start date
- Orientation is 16 hours
