Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dynamic nursing leader to serve as an Associate Director of Nursing within a Behavioral Health setting. This role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations across multiple units, driving improvements in patient care outcomes, and supporting staff development.The ideal candidate will partner closely with nurse managers to enhance operational performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead initiatives to improve patient care quality, safety, and clinical outcomes
- Oversee and evaluate nursing staff performance across assigned units
- Collaborate with nurse managers to assess operations and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address performance gaps
- Monitor and track medication errors, staff counseling, and compliance metrics
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to nursing staff
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of seven (7) years of nursing experience
- At least five (5) years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
