Job Details- Location: Santa Monica, CA 90404 (Santa Monica radiology jobs / California radiology jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/10/2026)
- Position: Hospital Radiologic Technologist / Rad Tech – Interventional Radiology (IR Technologist)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,370 – $2,550
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:30 – 16:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: One weekday on-call shift per week (16:00 – 07:00) and one three-day weekend (Fri–Sun) per month
- Weekend Availability: Required
- Charting: Epic (Epic experience required)

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (interventional radiology experience preferred)
- ARRT certification (must be active)
- Current California Radiologic Technologist license (must be in-hand at time of submission)
- LA Fire Card issued within the last 30 days (required)
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Experience using Epic electronic medical record
- Weekend and on-call availability; ability to work 3 of the 5 major holidays
- Ability to float between facilities as needed (flexible for California travel rad tech roles)
- References: 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
- Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures and diagnostic imaging in the IR suite and Cath Lab
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment (Philips OmniDiagnost Eleva and Allura FD20)
- Assist physicians with embolization, endovascular interventions, stent placements, thrombolysis, and other IR procedures
- Access and manage ports, catheters, central venous lines, and vascular access devices
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Prepare, stock, and maintain inventory of IR supplies and ensure equipment readiness
- Document procedures, consents, and patient information accurately in Epic
- Respond to rapid response / code teams and assist in emergent imaging situations
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric populations
- Work in a high-quality, Magnet-designated acute care hospital with advanced imaging technology
