Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Reston, VA | 13-Week Assignment
Travel to Reston, Virginia for a rewarding Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse opportunity in a fast-paced hospital setting. This L&D RN assignment is ideal for an experienced obstetric nurse who enjoys supporting patients through labor, delivery, postpartum care, and high-acuity women’s services.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Experience in a fast-paced L&D or obstetric care environment strongly preferred
- Ability to circulate C-sections and provide operating room support when needed
- Experience caring for high-acuity obstetric patients and managing IV drips such as magnesium
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- AWHONN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certification preferred
- Comfort with Meditech and CPNS documentation systems is a plus
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical assessment skills
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, epidurals, spinals, cerclage, and version procedures
- Support OB triage, antepartum care, PACU recovery, and related women’s health needs
- Administer and monitor IV medications and drips for high-acuity obstetric patients
- Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, and the care team to ensure safe outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established unit protocols
- Adapt quickly to a busy labor and delivery unit and provide excellent patient-centered care throughout every shift
