RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Candidate Requirement- Must live 50+ miles away
- Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience
- Cerner experience required
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
- NRP – Required
- AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring – Required
- Current RN License in state/district of practice – Required
- Females of childbearing age
- Pregnant patients from approximately 17 weeks gestation and beyond
- Laboring patients
- Scheduled procedures including:
- Cesarean Sections (C-Sections)
- External Cephalic Versions (ECV)
- Cerclage patients (limited frequency)
- OB Triage patients
- Admissions
- Discharges
- Transfers
- Pre-operative care
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean deliveries
- Triage assessments
- Fetal Monitoring Systems
- Cerner EMR
- Fetalink Documentation System
Ideal Candidate
An experienced Labor & Delivery RN with at least 2 years of recent L&D experience, strong fetal monitoring skills, proficiency with Cerner documentation, and current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications. Candidate should be comfortable managing laboring patients, OB triage, vaginal deliveries, and C-section cases in a fast-paced obstetric environment.
