Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.$750 referral bonus available

Job Details:
- Perform a variety of routine and specialized X-Ray procedures as a licensed, registered Radiological Technologist
- Maintain standards of ARRT and IEMA
- Utilize appropriate scanning protocols to demonstrate necessary anatomy and adjust technical factors according to age-specific needs
- Administer oral and/or IV contrast as needed
- Assist physicians in procedures when required
- Complete documentation according to specific guidelines
- Maintain supplies, equipment and work areas to ensure readiness
- Work with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Adhere to hospital policies, professional standards, and Radiation Safety/ALARA Standards
- Demonstrate courteous behavior through polite and respectful communication
- Work every other weekend
- On-call responsibilities to be determined
- 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience required
- Must be X-Ray Technologist certified
- GE equipment experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT
- Illinois IEMA license required
- Cerner and Change Healthcare PACS experience preferred
- Surgery experience preferred
