Warehouse Manager
A prominent distribution center in Port Washington is seeking a high-impact leader with minimum of 3 years experience leading 10 + direct report. The ideal canidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will serve as the right hand to the Warehouse Manager, involved in daily execution and management across warehouse process such as: inbound receiving, putaway, replenishment, inventory control, order picking, order checking, load-out, and compliance.

Responsibilities
Operations & Logistics- Inbound/Outbound: Oversee the full receiving cycle (dock to system) and outbound flow (picking, checking, wrapping, loading). Verify shipments against BOLs/POs; resolve discrepancies and ensure on-time departures.
- Inventory & Putaway: Direct systematic putaway and replenishment using WMS to maintain slot compliance and FIFO/FEFO rotation. Support cycle counts and audits to exceed KPI accuracy thresholds.
- Maintenance: Enforce 5S standards, ensuring clear aisles, labeled racking, and organized staging. Coordinate equipment inspections and PM schedules.
- Safety Leadership: Enforce OSHA/DOT regulations and lead a zero-incident culture through regular walkthroughs, toolbox talks, and hazard mitigation.
- Documentation: Ensure all certifications, pre-shift checklists, BOLs, and receiving logs are accurately maintained.
- Supervision: Manage daily staffing, task prioritization, and training for warehouse associates. Provide real-time coaching and performance feedback.
- Reporting: Track and report KPIs (throughput, pick rates, accuracy). Identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven process improvements.
- Continuity: Assume the Warehouse Manager’s duties during absences to maintain full operational continuity.
