Job Summary
A leading surgical center in Colorado is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week contract assignment. The RN will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care, support surgical teams, and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
- Monitor and coordinate daily patient flow for safe and efficient care delivery
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery plans
- Administer medications and assist with surgical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and compliance standards
- Utilize critical thinking and prioritization skills in surgical settings
- Ensure adherence to infection control, HIPAA, and patient safety protocols
- Support a patient-centered and team-oriented care environment
- Active Colorado RN License or Compact State RN License required
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- Previous OR Circulator experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment
