Join a dedicated team providing compassionate, high-quality care to older adults in a supportive long-term care setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN who enjoys building meaningful relationships with residents while working alongside a collaborative healthcare team.
Position Highlights- 13-week travel assignment
- 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts)
- Rotating Days, Evenings, and Nights
- Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation as needed
- Manage a resident-focused patient assignment in a long-term care environment
- Supportive interdisciplinary team including LPNs and CNAs
- Opportunity to provide comprehensive geriatric and wound care nursing
- Deliver direct patient care to long-term care residents
- Perform nursing assessments and ongoing evaluations
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Provide wound care management
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care
- Geriatric long-term care residents
- Wound care experience preferred
- No tracheostomy patients
- No acute care admissions within the facility
Requirements
✅ Active New York State RN License (required)✅ Minimum 2 years of Long-Term Care RN experience
✅ Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
✅ Strong assessment, communication, delegation, and documentation skills
✅ Experience with electronic medical records (EMR); Epic experience preferred
