Overview:
Senior Vice President, Compliance
Remote | Reports to Chief Medical and Safety Officer
The SVP, Compliance will serve as a strategic and operational leader responsible for advancing Help at Home’s enterprise compliance program. This leader will partner closely with executive leadership and the Board to ensure a strong, scalable, and forward-looking compliance infrastructure across a complex, multi-state healthcare environment.
In addition to overseeing regulatory compliance, investigations, and audit functions, this role will evolve the compliance program from a primarily reactive model to a proactive, data-driven, and risk-based approach. The SVP will leverage data, technology, and predictive insights to identify trends, anticipate risk, and guide the organization toward measurable, objective decision-making.
This leader will balance deep regulatory expertise with strong business acumen, translating complex compliance data into clear, actionable insights that influence enterprise strategy and operational focus.
The base salary range for this role is $288,000–$300,000, in addition to a bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities:
Strategy and Leadership- Set and advance the enterprise compliance strategy aligned with organizational growth and regulatory requirements
- Lead the transformation of the compliance function toward a data-driven, risk-based model, shifting from subjective assessments to measurable, objective decision-making
- Assess current compliance capabilities and strengthen team structure, processes, and field engagement
- Leverage internal and external data sources to identify trends, emerging risks, and areas of vulnerability across the organization
- Partner with data science and analytics teams to incorporate predictive modeling and generate early indicators of compliance risk
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to track compliance effectiveness and organizational risk in real time
- Implement continuous monitoring practices, utilizing technology and automation to move beyond periodic audits to ongoing risk detection
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify systemic issues and drive sustainable process improvements
- Develop and deliver clear, data-driven reporting and dashboards for executive leadership and the Board, providing visibility into compliance performance and risk exposure
- Lead compliance monitoring, audit readiness, and risk mitigation across multiple states
- Translate home care and home health regulations into clear, practical guidance for operational teams
- Lead investigations and oversee corrective action planning
- Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operations, HR, and legal leaders to embed compliant decision-making
- Drive compliance visibility and engagement throughout field operations, including travel to key markets
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or Juris Doctor strongly preferred
- Compliance certification such as CHC, CHPC, or equivalent preferred
- 10+ years of senior compliance leadership experience within a multi-site healthcare organization
- Strong understanding of home care, home health, PACE, or similarly regulated community-based care models
- Demonstrated experience managing audits and navigating multi-state regulatory complexity
- Demonstrated experience building or leading a data-driven, risk-based compliance program
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights
- Experience partnering with data science, analytics, or technology teams to leverage predictive modeling, automation, or AI-driven tools
- Proven ability to implement KPIs, KRIs, and continuous monitoring frameworks within a compliance or risk function
- Systems thinker with the ability to identify patterns, root causes, and enterprise-wide implications of compliance issues
- Executive presence with experience communicating compliance strategy, insights, and risk to senior leadership and Boards
- Proven ability to influence without authority and operate effectively in matrixed, fast-moving environments
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage both field teams and executive stakeholders
- Strategic thinker who is comfortable diving into details while maintaining an enterprise perspective
