Job Details – Travel Nurse / Med/Surg RN- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
- Location: Lawrenceville, GA (Zip: 30046) — Lawrenceville healthcare, Atlanta suburb
- Setting: Acute Medicine Unit – Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week — night shift nursing
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel assignment, On-site travel nurse job
- Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced acute medicine environment
- Must be willing to travel for this travel nurse assignment; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
- Experience with EHR documentation, medication administration, patient monitoring, and interdisciplinary team collaboration preferred
- Provide high-quality nursing care for patients on the Acute Medicine/Med-Surg unit during night shifts
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, perform accurate EHR documentation, and report changes in patient status
- Administer medications safely and follow physician orders and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory, pharmacy, and ancillary staff) to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond promptly to patient needs, alarms, and emergencies during night shifts
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment and adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
