Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Role:
As a Remote Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of routine and complex Accounts Payable invoices. Maintain strong vendor relations with more sensitive high-profile vendors by resolving more complicated inquiries quickly and efficiently.Route invoices for coding and approval and resolve invoice exceptions in third party invoice solution. Audit expense reports for accuracy and ensure compliance with the company policy. Support AP Expense functions to attain goals and ensure department productivity standards are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile, review, and process complex invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage high-volume invoice uploads, ensuring accuracy, completeness, approvals, and SLA adherence.
- Research and resolve vendor, payment, and invoice inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Procurement to resolve purchase order matching exceptions.
- Validate invoice details, coding, remittance information, and tax application for accuracy.
- Review and process payment requests and expense reports, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and policy compliance.
- Handle exception and high-value payment requests requiring special processing.
- Identify, communicate, and escalate issues as needed to support timely resolution.
- Maintain productivity standards and complete required daily performance tracking.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting
- Experience in working in a high-volume processing environment
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of AP applications on a major computerized system
- Solid Microsoft Excel skills (including V-lookup and pivot tables)
- Experience in full cycle Account Payable
Additional Details:
- Client operational hours 6:30am – 6pm Pacific Standard Time
- Monday through Friday – 8 hour workdays
- Remote work

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
