- Work Setting: On-site Interventional Radiology (IR), procedural and perioperative departments
- Active RN license in New Jersey (IR RN / Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 1 year of RN clinical experience; experience in Interventional Radiology, PACU, OR, perioperative or other surgical specialties preferred
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical assessment, procedural monitoring, and patient safety skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-paced procedural settings
- Familiarity with sterile technique, patient prep/recovery, and monitoring during fluoroscopy/angiography is a plus
- Provide direct patient care in the Interventional Radiology department and procedural areas
- Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure patient assessments and document findings
- Monitor patients intra-procedure for safety, sedation tolerance, and hemodynamic stability
- Assist physicians, radiologic technologists, and surgical teams with procedures, vascular access, and sterile technique
- Manage recovery and PACU-level care for pediatric and adult patients following procedures
- Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and post-care instructions; maintain accurate patient records
