Following several years of strong year‑over‑year revenue growth, the company is investing strategically in financial controls, systems, and leadership to support scale and long‑term operational excellence.
They are seeking a Financial Controller to serve as the senior finance leader in the U.S., with responsibility for day‑to‑day controllership across the U.S. and Canada. This individual will partner closely with global finance leadership, acting as a key link between regional operations and the broader finance organization, while playing a central role in shaping processes, systems, and financial infrastructure.

Job Description- Lead all day‑to‑day finance and accounting operations across U.S. and Canadian business units, serving as the senior controllership leader for North America
- Manage, mentor, and develop a local Accounting Assistant, including involvement in hiring and ongoing performance management
- Act as the primary finance partner to U.S. site and regional leadership, providing financial insight and serving as a key member of the North American management team
- Establish, document, and enhance accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls to support scalability and compliance
- Lead the U.S. implementation and integration of new ERP software, partnering with global stakeholders to ensure a successful go‑live and adoption
- Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and accelerate close cycles
- Own U.S. and Canadian tax and compliance requirements, including sales and use tax, income tax coordination, and W‑9 administration
- Support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost‑savings initiatives, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards, partnering with global finance as needed on technical accounting matters
- Oversee inventory and manufacturing‑related accounting, including BOMs, job/project costing, and accurate manufacturing cost reporting

The Successful Applicant- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong inventory accounting background; BOMs, job/project costing, or revenue recognition a plus
- Experience managing or supervising accounting staff
- Demonstrated success driving process improvements and efficiencies
- Working knowledge of sales and use tax and general compliance
- Strong communicator able to partner cross‑functionally
- FP&A, budgeting, or forecasting exposure a plus
- Base Salary Range: $130- $150k
- Bonus: 10%-15% annually
