Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift travel nurse in Nursing Administration at a Magnet-designated Level I Trauma Center in Oak Lawn, IL (Chicago-area). Ideal for RNs with 2-3 years acute care/critical care experience and EPIC EMR proficiency.

- Unit: Nursing Administration (Administrative RN / Clinical Leadership)
- Contract Type: Travel Nurse – 13-week travel nursing assignment
- Start Date: May 11, 2026
- End Date: August 8, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8-hour Night Shifts (RN night shift)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,620 – $2,760 (competitive travel nurse pay)
- Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend (Saturday-Sunday)
- Holiday Coverage: Required
- On-Call: Dependent on shift/service line (30-minute response time required; sleeping room available)
- Scrubs: Provided

- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Minimum 2–3 years of acute care experience required; critical care/trauma experience at a Level I or II facility preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS a plus
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR required (electronic medical record experience)
- Experience with OR scrub and circulate is a plus
- Strong clinical leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work night shift, weekends, holidays, and respond on-call as required

- Provide operational and clinical administrative support within the Nursing Administration unit
- Coordinate and oversee patient care activities to maintain high standards of safety and quality across departments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, resource nurses, and leadership (clinical leadership role)
- Use EPIC EMR for accurate documentation, patient management, and care coordination
- Participate in trauma, transplant, and diverse surgical cases across pediatric and adult populations
- Support department operations, including orientation, training, and mentoring of new staff and travelers
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and Magnet-quality standards
- Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations and fulfill on-call responsibilities as assigned
- Work at a nationally recognized Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma Center near downtown Chicago
