This role evaluates assigned patients, develops and implements treatment plans, documents care, supervises discipline-specific therapy services, and participates in professional development and student training. You will follow state practice acts and facility policies while promoting patient and employee safety.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Kansas state Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required, including evaluation, plan of care development, goal writing, and documentation in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to complete clear, concise, and timely medical record documentation, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety practices.
- Willingness to participate in student supervision and contribute to clinical education.
- Previous travel or per-diem outpatient clinic experience preferred.
- Experience with performance improvement initiatives and clinical documentation systems preferred.
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts.
